TRAINING &

BACKGROUND

EDUCATION

I hold a B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Medical studies from Haverford College, and an MSc in Health, Community and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science.

After receiving my masters, I worked for several years in healthcare consulting, community healthcare programming, and clinical trials research before returning to school to study clinical psychology. I completed a post-baccalaureate certificate program in psychology at Columbia University and earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The City College of the City University of New York (CCNY).

RESEARCH

My research has focused on the intersection of stigma, bias, and improvement of access to mental health services for BIPOC individuals in the United States. My dissertation research focused on the intersection of diagnostic accuracy of childhood ADHD and minority group membership.

It was fully funded by a Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership Graduate Fellowship, and won The City College Kenneth and Mamie Clark Psychology Departmental Award for research that furthers our understanding of psychology and race in America.
